Make a quote
Set out what the work costs before you do it, in a document that looks like it came from a business rather than a spreadsheet.
Make a quote- Line-by-line pricing with optional units — hours, days, square metres — so the client sees how the figure was reached.
- A validity date, so a price quoted in January is not held against you in June.
- The same numbering and layout as your invoices, so the two obviously belong together.
- Becomes an invoice later without retyping it: duplicate the document and change its type.
59 currencies, done properly
Yen has no decimals, Kuwaiti dinar has three, and the thousands separator moves depending on where you are. Amounts are formatted by the same rules your accountant's software uses.
Tax that reconciles
Several rates on one document, discounts spread across them to the last cent, and a breakdown that adds up. No rounding drift between the lines and the total.
